Kyria Sabin Waugaman, PMA®-CPT
Body Works Pilates™ Studio Director + Fletcher Pilates® Program Director
Recognized as a Master Pilates Teacher, Kyria Sabin founded Body Works Pilates in Tucson, Arizona in 1993. She is also founder and director of Fletcher Pilates®, an international Pilates school. A graduate of Duke University, a PMA Certified Pilates Teacher and a Licensed Massage Therapist. Kyria developed the Pilates Program at The University of Arizona School of Dance where she serves as Adjunct Faculty. She is an international presenter and has served on the boards for The Pilates Method Alliance, The University of Arizona School of Dance and the Foundation for Expanding Horizons.

Deborah Mendoza, PMA®-CPT
Fletcher Pilates Director of Education
eborah's strong movement background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Santa Clara University and continuing studies in New York. Upon her return to Tucson, Deborah began intensive training in the methods of Joseph Pilates and Ron Fletcher through Kyria Sabin Waugaman at Body Works Pilates®. She began teaching at Body Works Pilates in 1996 and was instrumental in the design of the Body Works Pilates Teacher Training Program, which has since evolved into the Fletcher Pilates® Program of Study. She is a Fletcher Pilates® Qualified Teacher and serves as the Director of Education for the Fletcher Pilates® International and on the PMA Board of Directors.
Martha Ramirez, PMA®-CPT
artha received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in dance from the University of Arizona. During her studies at the University of Arizona, she was first introduced her to Fletcher Pilates® through Kyria Sabin Waugaman and Deborah Mendoza. Martha discovered her passion for the study of movement and pursued her education through the Fletcher Pilates® Program of Study. She completed the Comprehensive Program in 2005, becoming a Fletcher Pilates® Qualified Teacher. Martha is the lead Fletcher Faculty for the Fletcher Pilates® Arizona Educational Center.
Claire Hancock, PMA®-CPT

laire received her BFA and MFA in Dance from the University of Arizona and holds a masters degree from the Laban Centre in London. She has danced professionally with ODC/San Francisco and River North Dance Company in Chicago, and has been a guest teacher and choreographer for organizations such as the Limon Institute, the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, Arizona Opera, University of Arizona Opera and School of Dance. She is the co-founding Artistic Director of Art.If.Act dance project, a Tucson-based project dedicated to the live collaboration of dance, music, and film. In August 2010, she completed the Fletcher Pilates® Comprehensive Program to become a Fletcher Pilates® Qualified Teacher. She became a Professional Fletcher Pilates Teacher in 2014.
Kelli Workman, PMA®-CPT

elli workman, a native Tucsonan, has extensive musical theatre experience and a passion for teaching. Kelli began teaching when she was 15-years-old and is now the co-director of the Kids Unlimited youth performance group. Her love of teaching and movement led her to Body Works Pilates in 2002, under the mentorship of Kyria Sabin Waugaman and Deborah Mendoza. She has been teaching Fletcher Pilates for nearly a decade and has been instrumental in developing a mentorship program for the Fletcher Pilates® apprentice teachers. Kelli is honored to be a Fletcher Pilates® Faculty member in Tucson and to assist in teaching all of the courses in the Fletcher Pilates® Program of Study.

Amanda Boysun, PMA®-CPT
ailey Cruce has been performing since the age of 5, and has always had a passion for movement. She grew up in Tucson dancing and teaching under the instruction
of Kelli Workman at Kids Unlimited. First introduced to the Fletcher Pilates work in 2013, she immediately fell in love. Bailey completed the Fletcher
comprehensive program in 2016 and continues to use the Fletcher work to shape and enhance her daily life as well as the clients who come into the studio.
Claudia Casal, PMA®-CPT
ancing since the age of 5, body movement and its mechanics has always been her passion. She graduated with a Spanish Major as a Translator and Interpreter from the University of Arizona and with a Liberal Arts Associates in Dance from Pima Community College. She was then first introduced to Pilates in Buenos Aires, Argentina when she was studying abroad and decided to pursue her education through the Fletcher Pilates ® program of study. She completed the comprehensive program in 2013, becoming a Fletcher Pilates® qualified teacher as well as a PMA®-CPT in 2014. She is currently working a full-time job at Body Works Studio and a part-time job at Athlon Physical Therapy as a Physical Therapist Technician, both places where she can enjoy helping others through fitness and health.

Karyn Reim, PMA®-CPT
aryn Reim was first introduced to Pilates by an apprentice of the New York Pilates studio®; she was 12 years old at the time and didn't like it. Later, she sought out Pilates after injuring her back as a dance major in her undergraduate studies. In 2001, she became a certified Stott Pilates® mat instructor and Issat Fitness Trainer. Having found her passion for studying the human body and helping others, she continued to explore different schools of Pilates while earning her doctorate in physical therapy. 21 years after her first exposure to Pilates, she is proud to be a Fletcher Pilates® qualified teacher and a Pilates Method Alliance® certified Pilates teacher.
ynne began dancing at the age of 4 and from 8-18 years old had the opportunity to perform with the Lehigh Valley Regional Ballet Company in various ballets such as Giselle, Les Sylphides, Coppellia, Swan Lake, Graduation Ball, and the annual Nutcracker. Upon graduation from high school, she attended State University of New York at Purchase where she obtained her B.F.A. in ballet and modern dance. She relocated to Arizona to perform as a soloist with Tucson Metropolitan Ballet Company. After retirement, she owned and directed her own dance studio in Fort Mohave, creating various productions for the local community, including full-length annual productions of "The Nutcracker". Loving movement, she became a certified Jazzercise instructor and added that to her repertoire at her studio to include the dancers' parents. She was able to continue to teach dance, cardio and strength training in Montana, Las Vegas, and Phoenix. Lynne has since relocated back to Tucson, was fortunate enough to further her movement education, and has been an employee and group class instructor at Body Works Pilates since 2011.

orn and raised in Arizona, Mandy has always had a passion for movement. She danced for 6 years in her teenage years, including Ballet, Lyrical, Jazz, Modern and Hip Hop. She also trained with the cross country team at her high school. Breath was first introduced to her in yoga classes she enrolled in her early 20's but she fell in love with the breath technique and precise movement that was taught to her by the teachers of the Fletcher Pilates Lineage. Since she has found it she has continued to study the work of Ron Fletcher and has done so for the past 3 years. Also side lining as an esthetician, Mandy is devoted to guiding clients to a life of well being and balance.

hannon graduated from California Polytechnic State University with a BA in liberal studies and was a middle school teacher. During this time she was a race walker and highly active. She moved to Tucson in 2004 and began her training in the Fletcher lineage. Her passion for movement and teaching was the catalyst in her discussion to enter the teacher-training program. She is a qualified Fletcher Pilates® teacher as well as the Oro Valley Studio Manager.

s an actively involved registered nurse for more than 30 years, Susan has had an abiding respect, awe, and appreciation for human anatomy and physiology. It is no wonder that she found a profound connection with Fletcher Pilates®. Susan completed the Fletcher Pilates® comprehensive program in 2011. As a Fletcher Pilates® qualified teacher, it is her great joy to present the dynamic principles, fundamentals, and movement library of this comprehensive and integrative work.

eronica has been working for Fletcher Pilates® and Body Works Pilates™ since 2005. In august 2010, she completed the Fletcher Pilates® comprehensive program and became a Fletcher Pilates® qualified teacher. Veronica serves as program administrator for Fletcher Pilates, Inc.®.

ary Ann has over 22 years of experience in the fitness industry. Her "On the Ball" class at Body Works Pilates requires mind-body concentration and enhances flexibility, balance, and core strength. This fun class leaves you feeling strong, stretched, and challenged to "the core!"
he creator, and impetus, behind the Pilates inspired CORE GALORE is Mylène Brock. Originally from France, Mylène is a movement teacher with now thirty years of experience in both Europe and the United States. Mylène holds physical education degrees from France and is ace certified since 1992. She is a Fletcher Pilates® qualified teacher as she began studying the Pilates method with Kyria Sabin in 1994. Passionate about proper form, balance and “intent” in all movement, Mylène created CORE GALORE, a Pilates inspired core-conditioning system, which she has been refining since 1994. Core Galore is an American council on exercise accredited course since 2009. Mylène lives in Tucson, AZ with her two beautiful children.
Yamuna Body Rolling
Singing and Dance inspired Norma's 50 year continuing exploration as a Movement Educator. At her 20 yr.career at Canyon Ranch she specialized in Somatic Movement Therapy, Yamuna Body Rolling, Latin Dance, Restorative Yoga and Meditation. She continues to be inspired by the body's intelligence to correct itself.
anya Witman has been teaching yoga since 2010 and doing massage since 2003. An avid fitness enthusiast, she fell in love with Buti yoga from her first class. The fusion of fluid movement, rhythm, and potent music with yoga asanas and mindful body awareness hooked her immediately. Buti fuses hatha yoga, tribal dance, and plyometrics with a strong emphasis on core and spinal movement. It is intended to be emotionally cathartic and encourages empowerment!
arrow King, instructor and dancer, is passionate about sharing traditional and contemporary dances of the African Diaspora. Through her classes, Yarrow guides her students to discover the meaning of the movement and the connection between the drum and the dance. Bringing focus to deep and joyful movement from the core and helping people increase their musicality and rhythm. Her teaching style welcomes students into an experience of fun, safety and creativity.
As a committed student of dance she had the opportunity to study with esteemed teachers of African, Brazilian, Cuban and Contemporary dance. Yarrow has studied extensively with world-renowned dancer and choreographer, Rosangela Silvestre. And has also gained great inspiration from Kimberly Miguel Mullen, Dandha Da Hora, Rodson Santos de Jesus, Dr. Ojeya Cruz Banks and Dr. Eno Washington. She has studied, taught and preformed African, Brazilian, Cuban and Caribbean dance throughout the western United States and abroad. She choreographs performance pieces combining traditional and contemporary forms of dance and was the dance director and lead dancer forBatucaxe Afro- Brazilian Drum and Dance School and Performance Ensemble in Tucson, Arizona.
iane received her training at the desert institute of the healing arts. Diane is committed to helping people prevent injury, enhance recovery, and maintain optimal health through the application of therapeutic massage. An accomplished triathlete and long distance ocean swimmer, Diane has first-hand experience of the beneficial aspects of massage for athletes.
nna Franklin, a certified reflexologist, is a native of Reykjavik, Iceland. Her clients are from all walks of life, including people with chronic illnesses and athletes. Anna studied reflexology with Deborah Ardell Hill and was certified in 1999. Anna received her Shiatsu massage certification in 2000 from the Providence Institute in Tucson, Arizona.
elodee is a licensed massage therapist, hynotherapist, craniosacral therapist and creative dance facilitator. She is an active member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals and has been in professional practice since 1985. She specializes in therapeutic swedish massage to promote relaxation, nurture well being and support healing. Melodee's expertise with diverse modalities allows her to offer each client - centered session a signature experience that honors individual needs and preference.
